First, hello, and welcome to the tutorial I've been forced to create on how to install Autodesk Inventor 2018
1. Set up an account at the Autodesk website.
IMPORTANT NOTE!!! Do NOT use your school username and password for this!! They are very insecure, try something easier to remember, like TheRussians TheSteakKnife. You know what? On second thought you guys are smart, figure one out yourself.
Also, don't use your school email for this account, as MCCSC will not let those emails receive mail from people not affiliated with MCCSC because MCCSC is silly different.
2. When they prompt you for the school you go to, tell them either Bloomington High School South or Bloomington High School North.
3. In theory, you should be redirected to a screen that looks like this.
4. From the drop-down menus that appear after clicking on the Autodesk Inventor 2018 logo, click on "Inventor Professional 2018", "*Insert your operating system here*", and "Polski English".
Even though Autodesk SHOULD email your license information to you, take a screenshot of it just in case.
5. Click Install Now, then follow the instructions on the screen and wait.
6. When you come to the screen asking which parts you want to install, you can uncheck everything but the Autodesk Inventor 2018 program, Inventor libraries, and the Inventor electrical catalog browser.
7.Click install, and wait. Forever.
8. Once installed, go to your desktop and open up the Autodesk Inventor 2018 app. Click I agree, wait 30 seconds, and Autodesk Inventor 2018 should start up.
9. Bask in your newfound power to create and destroy small cubes at will.
