Robotics is a blast, exemplified by all the hard work we put into our robots. From Kickoff in January to Nationals in the Spring, robotics is an amazing way to make new friends and enjoy some entertaining experiences. Members of our team are also a part of SeaPearch, Vex, FLL, Science Olympiad, and many other STEM-related extra curricular activities in addition to FIRST robotics. This is a collection of photos of some of the events that our members have competed at along with photos from the robotics seasons.

                    2014 season

This year, our team was able to have our base water jetted.

                    2013 season
Waterloo, Canada National
Regionals: Our first competition of the 2013 FIRST robotics season at Waterloo University in Waterloo, Canada!

Grandview Science Night

Grandview Science Night: Some students from 3494 took the 2012 robot to Science Night at Grandview Elementary sparking some interest for robotics and engineering in the younger ones.

Our robot in progress: the beginning of build season. Building a robot takes a LOT of time... and thought. This was our big brainstorming session at the beginning of the season.

Cage Match

Cage Match: before the 2013 FIRST season, some members of The Quadrangles went to Cage Match to compete with the old 2012 robot.

Vex: little robots! Some students on our robotics team participate in other engineering related extracurricular including SeaPearch, Science Olympiad, JETS, and Vex.
